HoBo fixation!!!!
Well in all understanding, I do feel bad for our homeless in America. I do understand some choose the life and others are thrown into the life but in either way It is and must be a tough life, I am trying to understand that and also enjoy the inspiriational stories of how someone’s life was changed because they helped in some way!!!!! However, when a homeless man focuses on your 4 year old daughter the act of kindness get thrown out the window, when they try to convince your 4 year old daughter to give him her food, and try to have her follow him the rule book of “kindness” gets punched in the face. My family and I were at a weinerschnitzel and this “homeless” man came up to my daughter and tried to touch her and talk to her, My husband asked him to leave immediately, I felt a little bad not asking if he was hungry but I was to stunned by the fact that he Chose my 4 year old to talk to instead of my husband or I. Well He came back to talk to HER again this time my husband got extremely upset, A lady gave him some money in hopes that he would leave us alone but he didn’t, then continued to ask Izzy for her food. Chris became angry and an older man asked to buy him a hot dog in which he replied “no thanks, I don’t eat meat” What!, you are trying to eat my daughters food but you don’t eat meat, what ever, you aren’t getting anything from me because if you keep pestering us I will undoubtedly have to bail my husband out of jail!!! Just about then my lovely little girl stood up and yelled “why does this HoBo want to eat my food”, I was a little embarrassed but realized she must have had enough of it and spoke her mind with any respect, He chose her to fixate on. There were other families there with less intimidating husband to say the least but he chose our family which is scary especially since it was Izzy who kept him coming back. It was quite scary now that I look back and realized it wasn’t the food he wanted because he was given money to buy his own, but something about my daughter, it freaks me out to think, but at least she vocalized her discomfort which is all I can ask for. I am glad everyhting went smootly and no one is in jail or hurt or any worse for the wear but we all gained a little perspective in the end and sometimes that is worth it’s wieght in gold.
